Mustang

Counted cross stitch of the North American P-51D Mustang, the great long range fighter and fighter-bomber of World War II, built to a British specification, in the bright colours of the Eighth Air Force's 359th Fighter Squadron, which was based at Martlesham Heath in Suffolk between October 1943 and November 1945.

The design contains only whole cross stitches - no part stitches - and some back stitches. The stitched measurements are 12.2" x 7.4"/31 cm x 18.7 cm.

It would fit a frame measuring 37.9 cm x 21.6 cm without mount, or 40.6 cm x 30.5 cm with mount. The standard fabric in the kit is 14 count white blockweave Aida. 28 count evenweave 100% Cashel linen is available as an option for £3 extra.
